The Groom's Story
So, why do we call him Little? Here's the lowdown on the Groom's nickname. His name is Reinaldo Ruiz...(no middle name) His father's name is also Reynaldo Ruiz (notice the spelling change). In Spanish "Rey" means "King" (which is the correct nickname) but growing up, his family had other ideas. His Father was called "Big" Rey and he was called "Little" Rey, which later was shortened to "Little" and sometimes you'll even hear his mom cut it down to Lee (Li).
The Groom is patient and gentle. He's adventurous and wise. Rey graduated from Baruch College in New York City with a BA in Finance. he is focused on his career and following in his parent's footsteps in making a comfortable life for himself and his bride. He enjoys playing video games and cooking. And he bakes the best cookies! (I swear he should package them and sell 'em)! Rey loves his family and looks forward to having one of his own some day. He wants to travel the world and take in all it has to offer. He's a die hard Met fan (and Knickerbocker fan - shhhh.. don't tell anyone) He's one of a kind and also the love of my life.
